Dear Journalist:

I wanted to bring to your attention the upcoming production of A BRUSH WITH GEROGIA O'KEEFFE, an exciting new play based on a refreshing and inspiring new script about the life of this great American Artist.

A BRUSH WITH GEROGIA O'KEEFFE is directed by veteran director ROBERT KALFIN.  His Broadway credits include STRIDER, HAPPY END (starring Meryl Streep and Christopher Lloyd), YENTL (starring Tovah Feldshuh) and  TRULY BLESSED (A Celebration of Mahalia Jackson).  Mr. Kalfin is also Founder of New York's award-winning Chelsea Theater Center, winner of 5 Tony Awards, 4 Tony Nominations and 21 Obie Awards.

The play developed through the collaborative process of the WorkShop Theater Company is written by and stars NATALIE MOSCO, an original cast member in the Broadway and Paris productions of HAIR (which will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in September.).   She has also appeared on Broadway in THE MAGIC SHOW in London's West End in GRAND HOTEL and Australia  in STEPPING OUT, THE ARCHBISHOP'S CEILING, DAMES AT SEA.  As a dancer she has appeared with the Royal Ballet.  Ms. Mosco is also an accomplished painter and her work has been displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MoMA.

A BRUSH WITH GEORGIA O'KEEFFE is being presented by the venerable off-Broadway WorkShop Theater Company known for  such plays as THE MAN WHO WAS PETER PAN by Allan Knee, which went on to become the award-winning film, "Finding Neverland", and premiere productions of plays by Murray Schisgal (best known for the screenplay of "Tootsie") and Tom Dulack (author of the Off-Broadway hit BREAKING LEGS).

I do hope you can find the time to attend a performance with begin on March 20th and runs Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8:00 pm with Saturday Matinees on March 22nd and April 5th at 3:00 pm.
