In a recent announcement Isabelle Fuhrman was rumored to have joined the cast of “After Earth.” “After Earth” is run by Sony Pictures along with Overbrook Entertainment and is to be directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Isabelle is going to join a star studded cast including Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Zoe Kravitz and Sophie Okonedo. Isabelle is best known for her work in “Hunger Games.”
The story of “After Earth” is set 1000 years in the future and involves an estranged father (Will Smith) and son (Jaden Smith) who crash in their ship and have to find their way home through an abandoned and dangerous earth.
“After Earth” is produced by Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith and James Lassiter of Overbrook Entertainment. The movie is set the start production in March and has a rumored release date of June 2013.
