Transformers are in DC
Only the true and persistent fans were able to witness what they would call a one in a lifetime event. They had to wait up to five hours in order to see one scene that would be changed and adapted using special effects to be eventually shown in theatres. On October 13th the crew of Transformers 3 came to DC to film a scene with special effects. Staged in front of the capital building fans were able to witness fireworks, explosions and acting soldiers rushing in over a couple of minutes at 11 o’clock at night. It had slipped that director Michael Bay was going to come to DC to film part of the new movie in the nation’s capital. Sadly for spectators, neither him, nor the main actors of the first two movies were seen on set.
Still, fans that lasted through the long hours of waiting for something to happen were granted with most likely an event that they won’t forget. It was short and crisp but definitely worth it. First, a caravan of three black SUVs and a few police cruisers zipped along a block of Pennsylvania Avenue near the Capitol. Then -- boom! A chain of blinding explosions -- fireballs, flames, the works -- lit up the intersection. "Soldiers" charged into the street and sprayed "machine-gun fire" into the air, blasting a robot monster that will later be CGI'ed into existence.
Whether the scene will be in the movie or not might still not be certain as the movie is right in the middle of production. Whether the scene will be in it or not we are going to find out on July 1st, 2011 when Transformers 3 will go on air.

NCL Holdings Signs New Contract with ISAF
The end-to-end logistics support company NCL Holdings, founded by Hamed Wardak, prolonged its contract with the International Security Assistance Forces, supporting the United States' presence in Central Afghanistan for two more years. "The three new contract ‘wins' are consistent with NCL's long-term vision of supporting the stabilization and restoration of the Afghan economy and the rebuilding of the Afghani cultural heritage and civil society," said NCL Holdings President David Y. Etchart.
This contract supports the vision of CUSAP (Campaign for a U.S.-Afghanistan Partnership), the membership organization for Afghan and U.S. citizens, also founded by Hamed Wardak. He believes that the U.S. and Afghanistan will be able to form a strong business relationship through consistent support and aid. NCL Holdings, based in Virginia, will provide logistics support, particularly trucking and aviation, warehousing and purchasing for all types of goods in Afghanistan.

Call of Duty: Black Ops generates $550 million in first 5 days
Call of Duty: Black Ops has created more revenue than any other media in the first 5 days since its release. Modern Warfare, its prior form, had set a video game record with $360 million but this one was also demolished since COD: BO has come out, earning $550 million dollars in sales already.
Even though these numbers are exceptionally high, it won’t mean much in a few months anymore, when hardly any games will cross the counter. Compared to movies and music, video games become old quickly and consumer interests will shift to new and other versions. It will therefore still need the holiday season to keep itself in the great position it is in.

Be Inspired to Exhaust Your Physical Capabilities with Ludus Athletics
The female beauty industry has been concerned with environmentally friendly fashion and beauty products for a long time. The trend is shifting and men have also become more fashion and quality conscious when choosing clothing articles. The active wear company Ludus has specifically targeted this trend. Ludus CEO Hamed Wardak founded the company at the beginning of 2011 and has since been making an effort to influence men and women to wear clothing that is socially and environmentally conscious. The first time Ludus displayed its fashion line was at the Montage Hotel in Los Angeles with UFC champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva.
Hamed Wardakchose the brand name Ludus because it relates back to ancient Rome when the word stood for a training school for gladiators. The brand and its fashion are meant to represent the company’s interest in and focus on athletics and mixed martial arts. It is meant to inspire men and women to use their physical capabilities and push themselves to their limits. “Ludus brand seeks to promote a positive message of connectivity and sustainability,” said Ludus Athletics’ Senior Executive, Tavis Mann. “Ludus is inspired by forward thinking athletes, artists and musicians and our collaboration with them will propel our creativity across a range of athletic lines.”
