Whip-it is popular among teens looking for a cheap thrill. “Whip-it” is short for getting high after inhaling nitrous oxide from a compressed can of whipped cream. Recently, Demi Moore was hospitalized after she was found losing consciousness from allegedly doing “whip-its.” Moore, a 49-year-old actress and mother of three has been a tabloid target ever since a messy split with Ashton Kutcher.
23-year-olddaughter, Rumer, was by her mother’s side when after she collapsed when she started facing seizure symptoms. Moore’s three kids are with late husband Bruce Willis while Moore seeks spiritual counseling. Whip-it deprives the brain of oxygen and evidence suggests that abusing the substance can do damage to the brain. Whip-its can cause serious consequences that include lung collapse, blood vessel hemorrhage in the lung, heart attack, seizure, and coma. Common side-effects are numbness in the fingers and toes, dizziness, vomiting, and nausea. Technically whip-it is legal. Whip it is like glue, paint, or VCR cleaners, and available in most supply aisles. It’s relatively popular among teenagers “whip-it” because it’s inexpensive and so easily accessable.
