Amy Poehler in DumbDumb’s Latest Web Short

We knew it was only a matter of time before DumbDumb founder Will Arnett pulled his wife—the hilarious Amy Poehler—into “Always Open,” the web series the company does with the Denny’s restaurant chain.

The web series features David Koechner as a host, rotating comedians that visit him in a booth at Denny’s, highlighting the pair’s usually off-the-wall conversation. With Poehler, Koechner was interested in finding out about the serious side of her life.

“You’re a hard charger who overcomes obstacles,” he says. “What have you overcome in your life?”

Poehler is stumped, but Koechner quickly moves on. The subsequent banter involves some fun facts about Ben Franklin, a lesson in how to give “dead eyes,” chimp attacks and fighting with Jay-Z.

DumbDumb is a comedy enterprise led by Arnett and Jason Bateman. With the backing and distribution expertise of Ben Silverman’s Electus and Barry Diller’s IAC/Interactive Corp, DumbDumb is a valuable strategic and creative resource for brands looking to harness the power of entertainment and humor.
