This was a bold and unexpected statement coming from the music star in her pale pink strapless Badgley Mischka with Brumani jewels at the American Music Awards.
According to Perry many stars wear rentals but there are also the few that seem to have made the choice of making the shining stones their own. One day before her 18th birthday, Miley Cyrus, wore her Neil Lane jewels with pride. This is Marchesa and the jewels are Neil Lane. These are some of my favorite jewelry I’ve ever gotten to wear on a carpet. So I’m stoked.”

A Harness Causes Trouble

Her custom-made outfit seems to be a rip-off of ‘Mother of London’s leather harness and designer Mildred Von Hildegard was not happy.
Who is responsible and who is the one that stole the outfit and publicized it as someone else’s work? Mariel Haenn who styles Willow from time to time made sure to let the world know that she had nothing to do with it. "To be honest I have no idea who 'styled' her or the designer. Wish I did. I don't ask my clients who they used when I'm not available."

The Women Who Know How To Dress Best
As every year the night of the Oscars reveals the best and the worst tastes in fashion. Some appear in dresses that are made for curvy women but do not have any of them on their won. Others squeeze themselves into outfits that are far too tight for them from the beginning on. Finding the right designer and asking for a dress that matched personality, character, and figure has proven to be a larger challenge for some than for others. Those who have continually shown that they know what looks good on them and what does not are Mila Kunis, Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.
The three actresses showed of their assets best and highlighted their best features. Mila Kunis’ soft lavender colored gown by Elie Saab Couture revealed her cleavage and turned heads when she walked down the red carpet. Also Portman and Johansson did not fail to impress as both chose a purple dress just as Kunis to set themselves apart from others.
Johansson showed herself in a Dolce & Gabbana dress while Portman stayed true to her usual choice from designer Rodarte.
